By all accounts, the 2014 Bookcamp was a marvelous experience for participants and instructors alike.

Plans are already underway for the 2015 event, to continue what was established in the inaugural week: a commitment to improving everyone’s novel-in-progress, a dedication to working on the business side of polishing and pitching, and most of all, a genuine camaraderie that was quite remarkable.

Everyone felt the vibe: plenty of support and encouragement to develop a publishable novel, detailed instruction, kind critiques, serious focus, and a mutual respect and sharing.

The site was perfect, with lots of space for contemplation and conversation, working on our manuscripts and walking the retreat center’s trails , thinking and sharing, reading and laughing . . . all this, plus great food.

Anyone interested in the 2015 should contact director Dave Rank soon, at Next year might fill up before you know it!
